๐Ÿ‘‹ Our story

I grew a one-truck junk removal company into a two-truck operation with the exact playbook I now run for you.

No agency background. No marketing degree. Just a lot of trial, error, and paying close attention to the numbers.

One guy, one truck, and no idea if it would work.

Jake's Junk Removal started the way most local service businesses do โ€” one truck, a phone number, and a lot of hustle.

Early on, growth was slow and unpredictable. Some weeks the phone rang constantly, other weeks it didn't ring at all. I didn't have a marketing background โ€” I just knew that word-of-mouth alone wasn't going to get me past one truck.

So I started doing what most owners never make time for: actually learning how Facebook Ads, Google Local Services Ads, and a real website work โ€” not the surface-level stuff, but the actual mechanics. Budget pacing. Cost per lead. Bid strategies. Verification steps that trip almost everyone up. All of it.

I tracked everything. When something worked, I scaled it slowly and watched what happened to cost per lead. When something didn't, I killed it fast instead of hoping it would turn around.

The playbook, in order.

Step 1

Got found online

Built a real website instead of relying on word-of-mouth and a Facebook page alone โ€” so people searching for junk removal actually landed somewhere built to convert.

Step 2

Started small on ads

Launched Facebook ads on a small daily budget first, so I could see real cost-per-lead numbers before committing more money to something unproven.

Step 3

Scaled in small steps

Increased budget gradually โ€” never more than 20-50% at a time โ€” and watched cost per lead after every bump instead of guessing.

Step 4

Added a second channel

Once Facebook was consistently profitable, layered in Google Local Services Ads to capture people actively searching, rather than just scrolling.

Now

Two trucks, steady leads every week

Same playbook, just repeated and refined โ€” and now the exact thing I run for Haul & Hustle clients.

"I'm not selling a theory. I'm selling the exact system that took my own business from one truck to two โ€” and I check the numbers on my own ads every week, same as I do for clients."

โ€” Jake, Founder

That's the whole point of Haul & Hustle โ€” most agencies are selling you a service they've never actually had to rely on themselves. I run this exact system on a business that has to make payroll every month. If it doesn't work, I feel it before you do.
